HrACKATHON – International edition 2016

HrACKATHON is the first competition that boosts innovation for Human Resources !

What is it ?

  • Inspired by hackathons (start-up marathon to quickly prototype disruptive digital apps)
  • The HrACKATHON International Edition is a first event of this kind in the world with participants coming from around the world
  • Organized by Talentys (S&H Group) in partnership with 3 international companies: Airbus Group, Air Liquide, and BNP Paribas
  • 48hours to develop innovating-use prototypes in a symbolic place of digital: « Ecole 42 »
  • A competition between 9-12 teams composed by 7 HrACKERS: Dev and HR students and employees from IT and HR functions of the partners
  • On HR themes which are opportunities for innovation: feedbacks, competencies and Uber-isation of HR services
  • Intense, fun and geek
  • A final with Prototype demo and HR marketing pitch to the Grand Jury and with rewards and gifts for the best applications and participants

  • To offer an open collaboration and inter-generational experience to partner companies’ contributors and to students

42 is a private French computer programming school created and funded by Xavier Niel (Founder of Illiad) with several partners including Nicolas Sadirac, Kwame Yamgnane and Florian Bucher.

The training is inspired by new modern ways to teach which include peer-to-peer pedagogy. Students will not receive any official engineer’s degree. The school is known to bet on advanced knowledge and skill in computer programming and novel ways of thinking. 42’s name is a reference to the book The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy created by Douglas Adams: 42 is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
